holiday cottages in Conwy

Stretching from the sandy beaches on the coast to the foothills of Snowdonia, Conwy offers much for the outdoors enthusiast. And there’s much for history lovers to enjoy too, as you’ll discover during your break at one of our holiday cottages in Conwy.

The historic town of Conwy is a World Heritage Site and its castle, perched high on a rock overlooking the town is possibly the most magnificent of Edward I’s Welsh strongholds. Conwy is also one of the few medieval towns with its walls still intact. Aberconwy House is a wonderfully restored Merchant’s house from the 14th century and Conwy also boasts possibly the smallest house in Britain, standing just over 10 feet high.

Our holiday cottages in Conwy are also ideally located for the charming resort town of Llandudno. Built in the Victorian era, it seems the 20th century has passed it by. Don’t miss the 100 year old Great Orme Tramway which takes you up to Great Orme’s Head, now a country park and nature reserve. It’s like the famous San Francisco cable cars. Away from the coast, Betws-y-coed is a noted centre for hill walking and the famous Swallow Falls are nearby.
