holiday cottages in Cotswolds

What could be more typically English than the many charming towns and villages nestling in the Cotswolds? That’s what awaits you when you stay at one of our holiday cottages in the Cotswolds. It’s the famous local honey-coloured stone that makes the buildings here, whether a tiny cottage or grand manor house, so distinctive and so appealing. Little has changed in many of the Cotswolds towns for more than 300 years, giving them a rare beauty in today’s world, and they are all within easy reach of our holiday cottages in the Cotswolds.

Perhaps the most perfect Cotswolds town is Broadway, now a major centre for arts and antiques. Broadway is also well known for its tower, from which it is said you can see 14 counties. There’s also the beautifully preserved Chipping Campden, Bourton-on-the-Water, the “Little Venice” of the Cotswolds and Stow-on-the-Wold, perhaps the best-known of the smaller towns here. But there are countless other charming places to discover as you tour these gentle hills.

The market town of Cirencester, the “capital of the Cotswolds” boasts a very fine parish church as well as the Corinium Museum. This features a fascinating re-creation of life in Roman Britain.
